Racket Captain, a service of JAGIZ LLC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), operates the Racket Captain application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Racket Captain uses the collected data for various purposes:
Racket Captain is a group-play organization service, and joining a group is an act of sharing. When you join a Match Group — by accepting an invitation, requesting to join, or being added by a captain — you expressly approve the sharing of your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and your event participation and results with the members, captain, and co-captains of that group, and — for groups hosted at a claimed venue — with the venue's verified owner and fellow venue members who take part in shared venue communications.
This sharing happens inside the Service (rosters, schedules, standings, chats, and member profile pages). If you do not want this information shared with a group's members, do not join that group. Leaving a group ends the forward sharing of your contact information through it; recorded results and history remain part of the group's records.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, the rules in the next section apply.
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app or the website: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Every account type — player, captain, and club — can complete deletion without contacting us. If you cannot access the app, email support@racketcaptain.com and we will complete the deletion for you.
What happens immediately: any active subscription is cancelled, your sessions and access tokens are revoked, and your devices stop receiving notifications.
What we permanently delete: your profile photo, saved search location, email address records, push notification tokens, notification settings, sport preferences, your stored messages, and your venue affiliations.
What we anonymize instead of deleting: so that other members' schedules, results, and standings do not break, we keep a de-identified record in place of your account. Your name becomes "Deleted Member", and your email address and phone number are removed from it. This record cannot be used to identify or contact you, and the account can never be signed into again.
What survives deletion: if you used a free trial, we keep a one-way cryptographic hash derived from your email address and phone number, so that deleting an account cannot be used to obtain unlimited free trials. This hash is stored with no link to your account, cannot be reversed to identify you, and is used for no other purpose.
Groups you captained: deleting a captain account closes that captain's Match Groups. Running series are stopped, future scheduled events are removed, past results are preserved as read-only history, and every member of the roster is notified.
You can withdraw your consent to member data sharing at any time by leaving a Match Group or by deleting your account. Leaving a group stops future sharing of your contact information through it; results already recorded remain part of that group's history.
You may request a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct it, by emailing privacy@racketcaptain.com.
The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
